En kan dus ook vloeibaar zijn. Diverse chemische productieprocessen brengen vaak sterk vervuild water met zich mee. Dit afvalwater is niet geschikt voor verwerking in een biologische waterzuivering. Het water thermisch verwerken is dan een goed alternatief.<\/p>\n<p>Met onze vier Vortex-ovens kunnen we het afvalwater thermisch verwerken. De capaciteit van deze ovens is 325.000 ton per jaar. Voor het verbrandingsproces gebruiken we zoveel mogelijk ondersteuningsbrandstoffen. Deze komen vrij als afval bij de procesindustrie. Bovendien winnen we schaarse metalen, zoals molybdeen terug. Deze stoffen kan de chemische industrie hergebruiken als katalysator.
